<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain is a revolutionary product combining the effects of a lipstick, lip stain and lipgloss. In a range of beautiful shades, this product claims to add colour to the lips for what has been described as 'an annoyingly long time', which in my opinion can never be a bad thing! When applied you should be able to eat, drink and carry out your daily duties without any colour budging, whilst also showing off a long lasting, non sticky, glossy shine.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Despite its tongue twisting name, this YSL lip stain is perhaps one of my favourite beauty buys of the year. Pretty bold statement but honestly, this is just what I've been looking for for some time. I went for the beautiful coral shade of Orange de Chine which changes slightly in different lights; more red at times and a stronger tinge of tangerine at other times. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My pet hate with lipsticks is the feeling of cracking, drying or generally being too matte. To overcome this I sometimes add gloss or a balm, the only downside is I can't stand the stickiness or the thought of my hair getting stuck to them, how horrendous. This is where this product shines for me. After applying one coat with the wonderfully precise applicator I wait for one minute for it to dry, resisting the temptation to rub my lips together. This, for me, is the base of the stain and would generally be fine for a day to day wear. However, for more depth of colour, I add a second layer which also enhances the glossy shine and shows off its full potential. The result is a pair of long lasting glossy lips without the feeling of any stickiness. Magic!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Would I repurchase? Absolutely, I'm already debating which shade to pick up next!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I received this as a gift quite a few months ago and was so excited to try it out. It was around the same time the huge hype for micellaire cleansers was about, Bioderma especially! This product is used in the same way; to take make up off using just a cotton pad. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lancome describe this as an 'express make-up remover' which should gently remove all types of make up with ease. I agree to a certain extent. This cleansing water is so lovely and gentle on the skin and it really freshens it up. I had absolutely no irritation or break outs when using this product and there are no nasty chemical smells. However it completely lacked the power to remove any eye make up. I therefore found myself using more products to do so which took away from the 'ease' a cleansing water should provide. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This product, however gentle and kind to the skin, would be best suited to those who enjoy wearing a light face of makeup. It took a good few soaked cotton pads (large ones) until I felt all was removed, even then I had to use a toner and eye make up remover. It is also a product that won't last that long but I suppose this depends on how much makeup you wear and how often you want to use it to remove it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Quite a negative review I guess but for some people this would be a great, fresh make up remover. However it's just not for me! </div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">ghd Style Heat Protect Spray - <a href="http://fave.co/XYVPSK" target="_blank">Feel Unique</a> - £8.45</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I remember when I was younger and I first started straightening my hair my mom would go crazy if I wasn't using some sort of heat protection spray. Over the years I eventually stopped bothering with them, whilst also starting to get highlights, bleaching and generally putting my hair through torture without any real care. Now I look back and think, bollocks, I probably should have listened to her! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, perhaps a bit of a boring blog post today but one of my resolutions this year is to take a lot better care of my hair from washing, styling, and treating. This leads me to my first haircare product I ordered in the Feel Unique sale over Christmas. I wanted a product I could spray over wet or dry hair and would give me a 'no product' feel; this ticked all the boxes! I didn't want to spend a fortune on this type of product and I wanted a spray that dispensed just the right amount of product; again, perfect!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The packaging is great and simple along with a beautifully fresh fragrance that doesn't smell chemically or artificial. Overall a fantastic product that I have been using every time I apply heat to my hair; using this definitely doesn't make me feel too bad about doing so!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I can't believe I've neglected blogging for such a ridiculous amount of time. I've had such a lovely Christmas despite not really having a substantial break and commuting between home and Manchester a lot for work. Now I'm back in Manchester, getting back into my uni routine whilst being bombarded with crazy amounts of work (which I should be doing right now). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1) The first item on my wishlist this week is actually a bit of a lie. I have already purchased this dress from Topshop and returned it. I really really wanted to like it but the material is just horrendous. That and the fact it shows every flaw ever despite it being black and long sleeved. I am definitely still on the hunt for a midi dress suitable for my short self but perhaps something a little less clingy! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2) I tried this on the other day and fell in love. It is tacky (which I believe is never a bad thing) and just fabulous. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3) and 4) I guess I currently have a thing for patterned trousers, something I don't think I have ever considered in the past. I tried on the first pair in H&M yesterday and was a bit disappointed at the fit. I will definitely be making a purchase when I find the perfect pair!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5) I've heard such great things about this foundation but I've always been put off purchasing once realising the crazy price tag. Have any of you tried this, what are your thoughts and is it worth the money? Let me know!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">NARS Blush in Gina - <a href="http://fave.co/URr16T" target="_blank">John Lewis</a>/<a href="http://fave.co/X4FolP" target="_blank">Asos</a> - £21</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Along with Benefit's They're Real! Beyond Mascara (<a href="http://hhhxo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/benefit-theyre-real-beyond-mascara.html" target="_blank">review here</a>), this beautiful NARS blush is another beauty bargain I snapped up from ASOS in a 25% off student offer. It has been a staple product of mine for a while now so I just had to order it with a deal like that!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
NARS describe the shade Gina as a 'true tangerine' which sounds a bit daunting to me and really quite off putting. Once applied it comes across as a much more orange based peach, however it is subtle and soft- so you don't look like an umpa lumpa! The texture is so beautifully soft making this product a dream to apply as well as easy to build up to a much richer shade. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It adds warmth to the face and applies with a matte finish- no emphasized pores! Although the pretty hefty £21 price tag may be quite a bit to spend on a blush, this is super pigmented meaning it will last a fair amount of time with only a swirl of product needed for each application. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Of course it is presented in such beautiful packaging with a handy little mirror. After trying a few different shades of blushes by NARS I always come back to Gina. Have any of you tried this shade, what are your thoughts? What is your favourite NARS product?</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">Benefit They're Real! Beyond Mascara - <a href="http://fave.co/X1ANkz" target="_blank">Boots</a>/<a href="http://fave.co/UQkxF8" target="_blank">ASOS</a> - £18.50</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I realise I'm a bit behind on posting about this product but I wanted to give it a fair review from the beginning of using it towards the end of the product. I find that it's hard to judge mascaras because I can completely change my opinion on them from when I first start to use it to when it's been used for a while. Anybody else feel like that?!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I bought this when ASOS had a lovely offer of 25% off for students and received it just two days later along with a few other beauty bits. So I didn't pay full price and after using it for some time now I'm still not sure whether I would.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This mascara has had a lot of hype surrounding it recently so I had very high expectations. The picture above shows just one layer on my lashes, this can be built up with ease and the wand is so great for getting those little lashes in the corner. It does give brilliant results and just a quick wiggle of the wand gives fantastic length and volume. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One thing I'm not so happy about is the transfer of mascara from my bottom lashes, leaving me with small black dots under my eyes after a couple of hours. My under eye concealer is then ruined and I walk around with panda eyes for the rest of the day. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When used on my top lashes I really can't wish for a better mascara, however I'm finding myself reaching for other mascaras for my bottom lashes. Do I really want to be doing that every day?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Have you tried the They're Real mascara? What do you think?</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1) I saw this in store and didn't think it was anything special. After seeing it on a couple of people now though it looks amazing on! The pictures aren't that clear but it's basically a bit of a reverse on the popular leather sleeve thing that's been going on recently. I'm definitely going to have to try this on next time I'm in town!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2) I think these are absolutely brilliant, definitely a complete waste of money though! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3) So these don't look all that great on the ASOS website but I've seen them circulating around blogs and they are fab! Great dupes for the sold out Allegra Topshop boots and only £38! Definitely tempted to purchase these right now...</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4) On the Christmas list! I've been trying to find a new perfume for some time now and wanted a completely different scent to what I usually wear. I wanted something a little more fresh and fruity, this fits the bill exactly! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5) I smelt this on a recent trip to Selfridges and fell in love. It's not exactly a scent I thought I would be initially attracted to, but as it turns out I apparently enjoy the smell of fir trees. I found it to be a really warm, comforting scent, it definitely reminded me of Christmas and being cosy. To be honest I do think the online description is a little OTT and dramatic, but I suppose it would have to be when paying £45 for a candle!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Limited Edition Vaseline Pink Bubbly - <a href="http://fave.co/St9j7i" target="_blank">Boots</a>/<a href="http://fave.co/10VMH3W" target="_blank">Superdrug</a> - £3.49</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This isn't exactly the newest product I've bought, I've had it for some time now and have been waiting to talk about it. Somebody told me to wait until I'd been using it for some time because their opinion had changed from bad to good. Unfortunately though mine hasn't changed over the past couple of months. I still hate it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I'm sure I've mentioned before I always have and always will love Vaseline. I started using it in high school when it was dead cool to have the little blue tin. Then everyone got on the Aloe Vera hype and it moved to the green tin, followed by the pinky rose one for a hint of colour. I've literally always carried some form of Vaseline in my bag because no matter what time of year it is I constantly have chapped lips. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So last year the Limited Edition Creme Brule Vaseline came out and I fell in love with it. I was so sad when I used it all up! However around the time it did, I saw that this new Pink Bubbly version was out and I quickly snapped it up, even if it did cost a mighty £3.49, nearly double the regular tins cost. I was sure I'd love it as much as Creme Brule but sadly not. In my opinion, nothing about it is 'Pink Bubbly' apart from maybe the slight pinky shade of the product. The scent is, in lack of a better word, foul and I actually think it sets off headaches for me. I don't think it moisturises for as long as previous versions; I seem to have to apply very very often which in turn has left me with under half a tin full after only a couple of months. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I know £3.49 isn't a lot of money but this, in my opinion, is not worth the price. I'd prefer to buy two ordinary tins and have them last me years! Have any of you tried this and had similar thoughts, or maybe you absolutely love it? Let me know!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">5) Heart Ring by Jordan Askill - <a href="http://fave.co/Q1VG0c" target="_blank">Topshop</a> - £25</span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1) I've got a thing for blouses like this at the moment, I'm loving open shoulders and of course an oversized fit. This could possibly be an investment waiting to happen, has anyone seen a cheaper alternative though?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2) Oh my christ this perfume is an absolute dream! I sprayed this on the off chance at work and ever since I've been visiting the perfume counter on every shift to use it. It's such a gorgeous floral mix and is so fresh and uplifting. I'm useless at describing scents but I highly recommend testing this out. It's something I never would have thought to try but it's 100% going on my Christmas list this year! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3) Witty gloves are great. I don't think I can expand any further on that really!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4) I feel like I've been wanting to invest in a lovely pair of heeled Chelsea boots this winter but I just don't think I'd get enough wear out of them. For a start I despise wearing heels of any kind and I'm much more of a comfort footwear kinda girl! However when I stumbled across these from Glamorous I thought they'd be really good for me, inexpensive so I don't feel the need to wear them constantly but absolutely lovely at the same time!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5) Lastly is this super cute heart ring in rose gold. It's so simple and one of those rings that I'd wear every day, I love it! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Finally! I've been so excited to get my hands on this gorgeous product from MAC; it's from their newest collection Glamour Daze and is described as a liquid-powder highlighter to sculpt and highlight the face. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First of all the limited edition packaging. I know it's not such a crazy, noticeable difference but it's shiny (yey) meaning it won't get dirty in my make up bag, and really it just adds a hint of luxury to it. This isn't the only luxury to the product- just look at the embossed 3d design, how gorgeous! Kind of makes me hesitant in using it, I don't want to ruin the design!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to purchase this rather than Superb mainly because it's suited more to my paler skin, it just looks more natural and compliments the ranges of blushes I use, however I do think that this would flatter most skin tones. The colour is a soft gold, champagne or even a peachy nude with a lovely shimmer. It isn't sparkly or too flashy on the skin, despite the highly metallic finish in the pan, it just gives a great sheen and highlight to the face. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In terms of texture, MAC describe this product to have a liquid-powder effect. I find that it goes on so smoothly onto the skin, it's very soft, almost creamy but in powder form? MAC claims that it wears for ten hours which I think is definitely true to a point, I would personally say around eight hours then very slight fading. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One negative, and there is only one in my opinion, is that this product can emphasize my pores if layered to create a more dramatic highlight of the skin. However this isn't too much of a problem because I feel I much prefer this as a day time highlighter, using just a very light application which has little to no effect on my pores. Overall I'm pretty much in love with this skinfinish, it'll last forever thanks to the mighty 9g worth of product you get, it completely compliments my skin tone and it just feels and looks so luxurious!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Have you tried any of MAC's Extra Dimension Skinfinishes? What are your thoughts? </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am finally going to be bringing back the weekend wishlists! What with moving back to Manchester, not having Internet for over a month and, to be honest, my complete lack of motivation I haven't created a wishlist in quite some time. They are something I really enjoy doing, and of course I hope you guys enjoy them too! So here we go!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1) How cute is this shirt? Really though? I am currently struggling to find a reason for me not to purchase this shirt. It is the sweetest pastel shade with unusual back detailing. One negative, however, is the fact that this is a cropped cut- not the biggest fan. Worn with Disco Pants though this would make a lovely outfit. I need to go try this on asap!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2) This winter I'm on the lookout for an oversized wooly knit tee/jumper to save me from the cold! I stumbled across this one from New Look the other day and although it's pretty basic, it's a perfect winter staple.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3) Tubular necklaces are still going strong and this Topshop piece is fantastic! £35 is pretty steep but it's a definite statement item. I am also currently loving the silver/gold clash I've been seeing around, never thought I would say that!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4) I've been using the mini size of this mascara that I received at Bonus Time, <a href="http://hhhxo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/clinique-purchases-bonus-time.html" target="_blank">post here</a>. Looking back I think I gave this product a bit of an unfair dismissal. I tried it a couple of times and just kind of chucked it in my make up bag and forgot about it. When I ran out of my usual mascara however I began to reach for it more, and recently I don't think I want to try anything else! It's actually great; lengthens, curls, thickens, everything you could ask for in a mascara really. Once I've finished the mini size I'm almost certain I will be purchasing the full size version!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5) This is a product I have been wanting forever but for some reason haven't purchased yet. To be honest, I don't do that much online shopping and there aren't really many places that stock Models Own near me (that I'm aware of!) The places that do stock the brand have a very limited collection. It's a divine light lilac/grey shade and a perfect everyday go to colour. I will get my hands on this one day!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Medium - <a href="http://fave.co/Tbrnm2" target="_blank">Selfridges</a> / <a href="http://fave.co/RI8Zmm" target="_blank">Debenhams</a> - £27</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's not often I make an impulse beauty purchase without reading any reviews or being recommended to try something, which is why immediately after spending nearly £30 on a bronzer I walked out of Selfridges feeling just a little bit anxious. Bobbi Brown is a brand I haven't invested in as much as others which is strange seeing as though earlier this year I fell in love with their gel eyeliner, <a href="http://hhhxo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/bobbi-brown-long-wear-gel-eyeliner-set.html" target="_blank">post here</a>, and now this bronzer. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I actually set out to purchase Nars' Laguna Bronzer after hearing so much about it, I really wanted it to live up to the hype! However once applied in store it looked as though I had dirt on my face. I looked ill and it just didn't sit right. It really looked horrendous on my skin tone, which is sad to say due to my love of Nars in general!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was then when I wandered round and stumbled upon the Bobbi Brown counter. I got matched with the shade Medium, which is the second darkest shade out of the five available. When I first saw the colour I worried slightly that I would resemble an absolute idiot who had smothered their face in make up obviously too dark for their skin tone. Once applied however, the colour is an absolute dream and my absolute perfect match! Not dirty or muddy looking, not orange toned at all, just right! It literally gives you an instant summer glow and a healthy look.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It comes in a fantastic compact which opens easily, a large mirror and 8g worth of product. I feel this is quite a lot for something which isn't used in great quantity; it will certainly last me a while! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With a lovely silky-smooth, matte texture, this bronzer works perfectly for me. It's extremely long wearing; I've been able to wear this throughout the day and into the evening without any need for touch ups. However if touch ups are required the application is yet again smooth, leaving no patchiness or clinging to dry skin. With absolutely no shimmer, this bronzer is 100% matte and natural looking. I feel like it definitely makes a difference to my skin and I feel so much more healthy looking when wearing this. An added bonus is that it doesn't affect my oily t-zone, result!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Honestly I could go on and on about this product. It's the best thing I've purchased in a long time and have no regrets over spending so much on something I didn't originally set out to buy. If you can't tell already, I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone no matter what your skin tone or type. What's your favourite bronzer? Do you enjoy Bobbi Brown products?</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Tangle Teezer - <a href="http://fave.co/RY9AR6" target="_blank">Boots</a> - £10.99</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Honestly. Where have I been? Why have I only just picked one of these things up? I think it may have been the price, and the fact that if I'm honest, I've never been too bothered about what kind of hairbrush I use. I recently picked a Tangle Teezer up in Boots in a 3 for 2 offer (they tempt me every single time!) and I've literally been using it non stop ever since. Of course I purchased the bright pink one and I've been seeing results from the first time I used it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Over the past couple of years my hair has really had a growth spurt. After years of intense bleaching, I've calmed down a bit and have tried to give my hair a lot more loving. With long hair though comes knots and plenty of tangling! Previously I would attempt to tackle this whilst inflicting a lot of pain and anger onto my head. The Tangle Teezer however glides through knots with absolute ease, on wet or dry hair. I don't get breakage or damage and it takes a fraction of the time to get rid of a knot thanks to its unique teeth configuration.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Easy to grip and hold, handy to use at home or to chuck in a handbag for use when out and about and overall one of those products you just have to have!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"> Lipstick in Fawn - <a href="http://fave.co/SEtOwN" target="_blank">Topshop</a> - £9</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After a month and a half I finally have the Internet in my new place, so happy! Hopefully from now on I'll be able to post a lot more often. I have so much stuff waiting to be reviewed that I picked up in the last month so stay tuned!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I actually purchased this lipstick yesterday and I couldn't wait to blog about it. It's part of Topshop's new collection 'Dark Side of Nude' which is packaged beautifully in a matte black tube which I am so happy about! I can't stand light coloured packaging getting filthy in my bag, so this is a fantastic move by Topshop for me. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's £1 more than their core collection lipsticks and one of two in this particular collection. This shade, Fawn, is just amazing! It's a beautiful nude colour with a hint of peach perfect for day to day wear. I only own one other Topshop lipstick (<a href="http://hhhxo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/topshop-lipstick-in-whimsical.html" target="_blank">review here</a>) but I find that it applies better than that; more smoothly and with a subtle glossy finish.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I can tell this is going to become a handbag essential and something I reach for quite a lot. What do you think about this shade? Have you tried anything from the Dark Side of Nude collection?</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Blot Powder Pressed in Medium Dark - <a href="http://fave.co/RY5okl" target="_blank">Mac</a> - £20</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once my student loan came through last month I hurried straight to Selfridges to pick up this beauty from the Mac counter! I'd read so many reviews from people claiming they'd found their holy grail powder, especially coming from people who have oily t-zones like me (bane of my life). So I was so excited to try this out for myself. I got matched with the shade Medium Dark; when I heard this I burst out laughing. Although it claims to add no noticeable colour, it does in fact add a hint of colour and the names of the shades do not match their actual shades, at all! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Blot Powder Pressed contains Silica which absorbs excess oils on the face to keep shine away. It can be used all over to set foundation, kept in your bag for touch ups during the day or night, or my personal favourite way of using it, just a couple of dabs on the chin and nose after a sweep of my every day powder- this means it will last forever and my face stays matte all day long!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It has become a staple product to take on a night out, especially because the compact includes a mirror and a puff which is so handy. When I'm at home though I prefer to use my Real Techniques buffing brush due to the hygiene issue of using the puff, putting it back into the product after it's touched the face etc. Using my buffing brush it really gets into the areas I like to cover and feels like it really sets.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Have you tried any products suited for oily skin? How do you banish shine? Let me know!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">Lipstick in Whimsical - <a href="http://fave.co/RPruT2" target="_blank">Topshop</a> - £8</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have the Internet!!! (Just for the day) Firstly I would like to apologise for the complete and utter lack of posting over the last month or so, moving into my new house has resulted in no Internet at all, I should hopefully be getting it at the end of this week but who knows. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Onto the lipstick, which has recently become my handbag essential and go to lipstick. I bought this a few weeks back after months of lusting over it. The pinky, nude, coral shade is to die for and of course the packaging is fun and cute.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Although Topshop say that this lipstick will moisturise and nourish lips, I'd have to say I disagree. I personally have quite chapped lips a lot of the time so I find I have to apply Vaseline before. This doesn't put me off though! It goes on nice and smoothly, has great coverage and a lovely matte finish. It also looks fantastic with lipgloss over the top and is perfect for day or night.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For £8 you can't really go wrong in my opinion. I will definitely be purchasing other shades in the future! Have any of you tried out Topshop's lipsticks? Which shades would you recommend?</div>

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It's that time again; Clinique Bonus Time! As I've mentioned briefly before, I have been using Clinique skincare products since before I can remember. My mom introduced me to the brand when I was younger and paranoid about my oily teenage skin and horrendous spots. Since then, as my skin has developed and as I've grown up my loyalties have truly stuck to the brand and I just can't seem to break that bond. I try out a wide range of brands for my make up, but for skincare? Always Clinique! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Before my holiday I popped to Harveys department store and stocked up on what I feel are my holy grail of skincare products. First of the two products I purchased is the Mild Facial Soap. The mild version suits dry-combination skin types, comes in lovely soap dish and cleanses skin brilliantly. This non-drying soap bar is perfect to use day and night. When I use this in a morning my face feels literally so clean and fresh, it's great! When I'm feeling lazy I use it in the shower to remove make up, which it does perfectly. Although it says to apply to make up free skin I feel that every last bit is removed as well as cleansing; pretty much two products in one! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Clinique's famous '3-Step' skincare plan involves an exfoliating stage in which a <a href="http://fave.co/QYKkLu" target="_blank">clarifying lotion</a> is used to remove build up of oil, stubborn make up as well as freshening the skin and prepping the skin before moisturizing. I don't tend to purchase the clarifying lotion; this is mainly due to laziness, money and I don't particularly enjoy the smell or 'stinging' feeling the Clinique clarifying lotion contains. When I feel I have had build up of oil or perhaps after a hectic weekend, I will use it, however I don't repurchase it as much as I do the facial soap and the moisturizer.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Secondly is the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. This version is, again, for dry-combination skin and is the largest size with a pump for ease of use and dispenses just the right amount of product. This is the 'third step' within Clinique's skincare plan and most definitely my favourite. When I was younger I used the gel version of this moisturizer which is predominately for oily-very oily skin. I find that the latter is definitely more lightweight and I prefer to use the lotion due to how much more moisturized the skin feels afterwards. I do have a relatively oily t-zone which develops more during the day, however the Dramatically Different Moisturizer doesn't make this any worse at all; it just seems perfect for my combination skin. I like to use this mostly after showering or cleansing with the Mild Facial Soap, as well as lightly before applying make up and overnight. It smooths on perfectly and sinks into the skin leaving is baby soft and well hydrated. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Bonus Time freebies! These can be received in selected department stores, check out when your nearest Clinique is having Bonus Time, <a href="http://www.clinique.co.uk/cms/locator/bonus_time.tmpl" target="_blank">here!</a> First of all I received this cute little make up bag which is perfect for travelling and holding the essentials.<span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The 7 Day Scrub Cream is a product I already use, so it was fantastic to get another tube to take to uni and stock up on! I probably use this scrub around once a week; it is brilliant for making skin feel brighter, clear and more fresh, it's a great pick-me-up-scrub to relieve dull skin. Using this before applying the Dramatically Different Moisturizer makes my skin feel so so smooth and it really is the perfect combination. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Next is the Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer. I guess I haven't been using this product for it's number one use, which is for anti-aging, however I do highly rate it from using it just a few times. A word of warning though, this product smells horrendous. When I put it on my face I could smell it for so long afterwards which wasn't very pleasant. It's super creamy but lightweight at the same time making skin feel thoroughly hydrated whilst also protecting from the sun.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">All About Eyes is a lightweight eye cream designed to reduce dark circles, puffiness and darkness. I personally have quite dark circles under my eyes so when I received this product I was really happy. However after using it a fair few times now I haven't seen any reduction in my dark circles, however it's fantastic when used in the morning to reduce my tired, puffy eye area. I will continue to use this though because I've heard amazing things about it!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">High Impact Mascara; lengthens, thickens, curls and makes eyes appear more bold. Great product, but for me I won't be purchasing it due to the price and my theory on mascara. If you didn't read my <a href="http://hhhxo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/whats-in-my-handbag-try-ysl-luxurious.html" target="_blank">last post</a>, my theory is there's no point in me purchasing high end mascaras because my lashes are already pretty long; therefore why splash out when I can get the same results for a third of the price!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15 in 'Peach Pop'. Lovely, moisturizing texture and great that it is SPF 15 but this colour is so not for me! It makes me look really washed out and perhaps a little bit ill. I'd be interested in testing out other shades though.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Last but not least is the Blushing Blush Powder Blush in 'Precious Posy'. I've always been a fan of Clinique's blushes, despite their unnecessarily long name, due to their natural look and ability to build up the intensity. This is a lovely pinky peach shade a hint of golden pearl. This suits my skin tone perfectly and I have been reaching for it constantly! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
Could this post be any longer? Apologies for the rambling but I am just so in love with Clinique's products and what they do for my skin. Are you like this with any brand in particular? Have you tried any of the products here, or maybe another Clinique product that you'd recommend? </div></div>hhhxohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06776804201844328391noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7323454626488486060.post-28778708771885070192012-09-16T05:58:00.000-07:002012-09-16T06:12:12.007-07:00Week in photos #6 and 7<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_PWh1tdYW4o/UFRsdAq_J8I/AAAAAAAAK3k/Z_zlT17PR-w/s1600/weeeksss.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_PWh1tdYW4o/UFRsdAq_J8I/AAAAAAAAK3k/Z_zlT17PR-w/s1600/weeeksss.jpg" /></a></div><br />

Due to lack of time last week I couldn't do a weekly update, so here are the past two weeks combined! It seems there's a lot going on at the moment so my blog posts are going to be pretty few and far between until we sort the Internet out in the new house in Manchester. So please bare with me! hhhxohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06776804201844328391noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7323454626488486060.post-26448997264942254742012-09-14T09:02:00.000-07:002012-09-14T09:02:26.296-07:00Weekend wishlist #8<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">1) Cheap Monday Howin Tail Back Shirt - <a href="http://fave.co/Og2ZvH" target="_blank">Urban Outfitters</a> - £60 </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">2) Look Make Me Blush in 'Flirt' - <a href="http://fave.co/No3Ej4" target="_blank">Look Beauty</a>/<a href="http://fave.co/Og3KFf" target="_blank">Superdrug</a> - £8 (currently £4) </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">3) Look Colour Correct Primer - <a href="http://fave.co/No3WXb" target="_blank">Look Beauty</a>/<a href="http://fave.co/Og4sSS" target="_blank">Superdrug</a> £12 (currently £6 via LB)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">4) Vintage 80s Chunky Chain Necklace - <a href="http://fave.co/No48Wj" target="_blank">Urban Outfitters</a> - £16 </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">5) Jade Shoes - <a href="http://fave.co/No4k88" target="_blank">Nelly</a> - £19.95</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">6) Vaseline in Pink Bubbly - <a href="http://fave.co/Og5bUc" target="_blank">Selfridges</a> - £3.49 </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;">7) Eye Shadow in Nylon - <a href="http://fave.co/Og5wpR" target="_blank">Mac</a> - £12</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">1) This lovely sheer number from Urban Outfitters is so beautiful! I have a thing for dipped hems or shirts and dresses in general with longer backs at the moment. Worn with tight black jeans, this would create a great look for day or night matched with appropriate accessories. I'm definitely on the lookout for something like this with a smaller price tag!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">2) I've always been interested in trying out Look Beauty products however none of my local Superdrugs stock them, I also wouldn't like to order them online without swatching in store. So I guess I'm in a bit of a predicament here! Online, however, Look Beauty products are currently half price so I'm contemplating making the purchase of this blush in 'Flirt'; I've seen numerous reviews and swatches online and it looks like such a perfect reddish coral colour.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">3) Again, with the 50% off is it worth trying out this colour correct primer? I have quite a bit of redness so this would be great for balancing my skin tone out before applying my make up. I haven't read many reviews on this, so have any of you guys tried this or heard anything good or bad about this product? </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">4) A big, bulky, chunky, oversized necklace like every single weekend wishlist. I don't feel I need to elaborate really.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">5) How lovely are these shoes! They're under £20 and would look fantastic with a pair of skinny jeans. I don't tend to wear heels too often but these are a nice height and they just look so classic.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">6) A new limited edition Vaseline, yey! I've literally just run out of the creme brulee Vaseline which I have been obsessed with ever since I picked it up in Boots about a year ago. In fact, I've been obsessed with Vaseline's lip therapy tins since I can remember. In high school everyone used to have the original blue tins, if I remember correctly, then it was cool to have the green one then the rose one etc. I can't think back at a time where I haven't had at least one in my bag at all times! I'm definitely picking this up in the next week or so, yum!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">7) Not a very exciting want here but it's something I ran out of a while ago and have been missing ever since. Mac's eye shadow in Nylon is a shade I wear under my brows as a highlighter and in the corners of my eyes. It's such a gorgeous icy gold shade with just the right amount of shimmer. Recently I've been using Topshop's highlighter in Sunbeam to highlight my eye area but it's just too gold and definitely works better on my cheekbones and run down the middle of my nose. I need to repurchase this asap, hurry up student loan!</span></div>

</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;">After purchasing my first Essie polish in shade Tart Deco, <a href="http://hhhxo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/essie-tart-deco.html" target="_blank">post here</a>, and discovering just how much I loved it, I headed back to my local Boots and picked up this shade; Bikini so Teeny. This shade has certainly caused a bit of a stir lately so I had to give it a go myself! For reference I used OPI Nail Envy for the base and top coat as well as using two coats of Bikini so Teeny.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This wonderful shade comes from Essie's Summer Collection and is the most perfect sky blue with a delicate hint of lilac. I feel that this shade changes in different light conditions; in low lighting the purply shade is more prominent, which I prefer to how this looks in bright lighting as more of a true sky blue. In the bottle there is a hint of shimmer, however this doesn't show when applied onto the nails. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The brush makes applying so easy due to the wide design and shape of the brush which is carried throughout Essie's diffusion range. However I don't feel this applies as easy as other shades. It is a little streaky and patchy, making the first coat uneven; at least two layers are definitely required, maybe even three.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Overall I do really like this shade and it looked fantastic on holiday. It is a real summer shade and can brighten up any outfit. However, I feel that it has been slightly overhyped and doesn't live up to some reviews I have read. I will definitely carry on purchasing Essie nail polishes as they are fantastic quality, have a good longevity and wonderfully easy application!</div></div>hhhxohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06776804201844328391noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7323454626488486060.post-76632333454480824032012-09-12T02:35:00.000-07:002012-09-12T02:35:05.312-07:00What's in My Handbag 'Try' YSL Luxurious Mascara for a False Lash Effect<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi guys! I'm back from my holiday, it was such a great break and lovely sunshine for a week. Now I'm back to reality and have to start thinking about moving back to Manchester to start my second year at university. So apologies if my posts are a bit lacking in the next few weeks; we probably won't have internet for a while boo! Anyway on to this post, enjoy!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://www.whatsinmyhandbag.com/" target="_blank">What's in My Handbag</a> is a relatively new website dedicated to informing women about beauty products that people love by showcasing the contents of handbags from women with a love of all things beauty; bloggers, journalists, designers, buyers, make up artists and many more. Their website features their online magazine, blog and more recently a 'try' section. Anyone can apply for a beauty try but only a limited amount of them are available. The decision is based upon your beauty profile responses and a different try is available each week for you to apply. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I received the YSL Luxurious Mascara for a False Lash Effect in a sample size and have been reaching for it nearly every day since! I have tried YSL mascaras in the past but don't think I've actually ever purchased one; I've received them as gifts for Christmas etc. Basically, spending £20+ on a mascara is just not for me. I am normally, admittedly, a bit of a make up snob however high end mascara just doesn't bother me that much. I have long lashes as it is, so I find I can get away with wearing pretty much any mascara from the high street. Don't get me wrong though, I do really like this product, I just can't see myself repurchasing it when I can get the same effect from this high street three times cheaper. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So on to the actual product. I really like the brush design as it gets those tiny little lashes from both corners of the eye to make lashes look fuller and the eyes bolder. Whilst applying this mascara, it doesn't clump. At all. Most people will definitely see this as a positive, but for me I kind of like clumpy lashes (is it just me?!) as well as this, it doesn't transfer onto the lid or under the eye when it's wet which I absolutely love. It does dry very quickly so I find I have to apply it quite quickly if I want a couple of layers on. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Overall, I find that the Luxurious Mascara for a False Lash Effect works great to separate and elongate lashes without clumping or looking too extreme. Layering this mascara can create a more dramatic look if that's what you're after, however I feel this shows a more natural 'false lash' effect which I do really like. For me it isn't worth the money, but if you have short eyelashes and would love a longer length, a true black colour and a false lash separation effect then this is definitely one for you!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Apologies for the late post, I've been so hectic this weekend and busy getting things sorted for my holiday which is tomorrow, yeyyyy. I won't be posting anything for the next week (apologies again!) but I have a few posts lined up for when I return :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1) I saw somebody wearing this New Look jacket last week and it looked so nice on! A nice little twist on a leather jacket and something a bit different. I'll definitely have to go and try this on.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2) I never get bored of sheer shirts and the pattern on this one is just lovely. Teamed with disco pants and an oversized bag, this would be a great evening outfit for when it gets a little bit colder. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3) The new 'stay matte' foundation from Clinique sounds absolutely perfect for me and I need to test it out asap! I have an oily t-zone and find that I need to touch up with powder throughout the day. This promises all day coverage, controls oil breakthrough and keeps skin shine free. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4) A cute, sparkly nail polish from the Louise Gray range from Topshop. Do I need to elaborate?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5) A bit of a strange one here! In a couple of weeks I'll be moving in with my boyfriend and he can't stand how many beauty products I own. I love nothing more than having them all on show but to compromise I'm going to invest in a nice little storage unit to put everything in. This acrylic Muji one is perfect!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
6) I'm loving big and bulky jewellery right now. I like the heavy chain on this River Island snake necklace and I think it looks way more expensive than it is!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
7) Another heavy duty necklace! I've been seeing this everywhere recently as it's such a statement piece that would stand out with any outfit!<br />
<br />
8) Finally just a cute top from Topshop. Studded collars are really starting to bore me now but I do love this!</div>
</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">All from House of Fraser</span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Eek my first blogger style challenge! I stumbled across this challenge from House of Fraser and just couldn't resist giving it a go. <a href="http://blog.houseoffraser.co.uk/women/blogger-style-challenge-win-200-worth-of-hof-vouchers/" target="_blank">You can find it yourself here</a>! The challenge is to create an Autumn/Winter look using new season pieces from the <a href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/" target="_blank">House of Fraser website</a>, write about your key look then post a link to your blog post on the HOF blog. What could you win? £200 worth of HOF vouchers. How could you not want to try!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Overall I've gone for a simple, chic look focusing on the embellished collar from this lovely Oasis shirt. I love everything studded so this shirt is perfect to make a statement yet also appear elegant and girly! Mixing this with the Vero Moda leather look leggings creates a grungy twist on the tailored look. Everyone knows the famous Disco Pants are extremely popular right now and they are definitely sticking around for some time, these leather effect leggings are something a little bit different yet still holding the shine and flattering cut of Disco Pants, absolutely perfect for nights out in colder months.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rose gold jewellery has hit the catwalk and high street in a major way recently and will still look fantastic as we get into a/w. The Michael Kors watch is a blogger favourite and I've been lusting over it for so long now, the rose gold makes a serious statement and is a nice change from standard gold. I'm matching this with the lovely rocking horse ring from Ted Baker, how cute is it?!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm all for oversized black bags, so when I saw this Jaeger Olympia City bag I fell in love. It's simple and chic, stunning and has a definite luxurious look about it. Mind you, so it should for £300! The next accessory is pretty much a necessity; this lovely floral umbrella from Radley, because let's face it, it will rain. It has a lovely vintage look and definitely worth the splurge!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These Kurt Geiger wedges are just divine and will definitely make a statement mixed with any outfit! Here however, I absolutely love the contrast in texture between the leather effect found in the leggings and the suede wedges, so this combination is just perfect. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last, but certainly not least, are my beauty picks for making this look more edgy! First of all the Bobbi Brown lip colour in Desert Plum, perfect. Plum/deep red colours are fantastic colours for a/w and this lipstick is full coverage, creamy and semi matte designed for the perfect application. The Shu Uemura mascara is perfect for building precise, volumized and dramatic lashes to really set off your make up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What do you guys think about my look? Send me your links if you've also entered this style challenge, I'd be interested in seeing what you guys picked out from HOF!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">Essie Nail Polish in Tart Deco - <a href="http://buyth.at/by9gp" target="_blank">Boots</a>/<a href="http://buyth.at/sedpd" target="_blank">Superdrug</a> - £7.99</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I finally decided to jump on the Essie bandwagon when I discovered the diffusion line had been added to my local Boots. No idea how I missed that, but nevertheless here is my first Essie polish, Tart Deco. I used OPI Nail Envy as a base and top coat in the photo above as well as using two layers of Tart Deco. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The shade is a wonderful, creamy coral which adds a vibrant burst to the nails. For me this is such a great summer shade and I wish I bought it earlier in the year! In bright light this polish can look quite neon...something which doesn't normally attract me and doesn't really suit my skin tone. However with just a light layer of gradual tan or a lovely sunkissed holiday glow, this is absolutely the perfect coral shade!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I don't think I can describe just how much I love the shape and design of the brush. It is just fantastic and makes applying it so simple and quick. The diffusion range carries an updated brush design which is really wide when pressed on the nail, meaning that just one or two strokes will leave the nail completely covered. The lovely creamy texture of the polish also helps with application; it literally just glides on to the nail with absolute ease. This is also possibly the quickest drying polish I've ever used and has really good staying power. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Any negatives? £7.99, for me, is probably near the top end in terms of how much I'd be happy paying for a nail polish. Some people may find this too expensive for a polish, some may be willing to part with £20+ for one shade. The packaging, luxurious creamy texture, quirky polish names and overall ease of application just make it all worth it though. Since picking up this shade I've actually gone and purchased two more...stay tuned for further Essie posts coming soon:)</div>
